This dossier concerns the 2026 US Sportsman 570 EPS Ghost Gray. It uses the exact specification page and the 2026 Sportsman 450/570 manual. “Sportsman 570” by itself is not a sufficient identity for transferring seating, equipment or maintenance information between markets.
The table gives the documented reference in a consistent set of categories. Its purpose is to make the description easier to read, not to imply that an Algarve operator supplies this version.
PVT describes the transmission, while EPS concerns assistance at the handlebars. The reference also lists on-demand AWD/2WD. Grouping those names into “automatic 4×4” would throw away information that matters when the machine is explained.
Polaris's separate PVT help article explains the variable-ratio belt system conceptually. The transmission guide puts that beside a geared automatic example. The actual manual still governs the vehicle's selectors, operation and service requirements.
The selected US specification lists one person. That should not be inferred to describe every European Sportsman. Polaris's Portuguese 2026 range announcement separately names 570 EPS 2-Up versions with a removable passenger seat and backrest.
Those are distinct references, not permission to add a backrest to the US machine and treat it as a two-person model. A holiday group needs the actual approved vehicle and each participant's eligibility. The passenger dossier explains the practical arrangement.
The published 361 kg figure is an estimated dry weight. Keep those words attached to it. Honda's curb definition elsewhere in the library includes fluids and a full tank, so the two figures should not be presented as a directly comparable ranking.
The dimensions and fuel capacity answer other questions. Overall size can support initial storage or transport planning; tank capacity is not a tested fuel range on Algarve tracks. Each measurement is most useful when its purpose remains clear.
The 2026 450/570 manual identifies prolonged dusty use and prolonged low-speed heavy loads among its severe-use conditions. It also distinguishes maintenance applicability between particular model numbers. A short distance on a display therefore does not tell the whole maintenance story.
For an ownership file, record what the machine has actually been doing between services. A workshop can then apply the relevant schedule to the precise model instead of receiving only a vague request for “the usual 570 service”. Our logbook and maintenance guide provides a practical structure.
Imagine an advertisement saying “570, EPS, rear seat, recent service”. It contains leads, not a complete technical identity. The useful next document set connects the exact vehicle, its seating information and the recorded work. A photo alone cannot do that job.
For a purchase, combine those documents with an independent qualified inspection. For a booking, connect them to the machine used for briefing and practice. The value of this dossier is the more precise comparison it makes possible, not a claim of a test ride or a local fleet inspection.
