A fantastic day out for everyone! We cater for all ages, family groups, birthday celebrations, hen and stag parties, the young and the not so young! Each tour is led safely by Hugo, an experienced English speaking guide.
There are endless Algarve off-road tracks taking you deep into the local national park where you will enjoy seeing wildlife such as deer and partridge. Look out for the goat herder who wanders from pasture to pasture caring for his expanding family of goats with their countless kids in an array of colorful coats. Marvel at the huge black sow and her squealing piglets, not to mention the lazy cattle that barely raise an eyelid as you pass them by. Look out for the cork trees, stripped bare from the branches down. Did you know that Portugal accounts for about 50% of the total cork production in the world?

Tours depart from Hugo's Quad Bike Centre in Messines and usually start at 9.30 am or 2.30 pm however, we are flexible and will try to accommodate you with a tour time that suits your party. The 5 hour tours must start no later than 10.00 am. Kids aged 10 and under go free!

Hugo was born in Lisbon and moved to Figueira da Foz with his family at an early age. Having a keen interest in motor sports, he bought his first motor bike when he was 14 years old but also took part in go kart racing.
As he grew older, he developed a passion for adventure and a desire to travel the world and he spent many years aboard cruise ships which took him to many new destinations. During his time at sea, he mixed with many nationalities and enjoyed making new friends from all over the world. He is currently fluent in Portuguese, English and Spanish.
After 7 years at sea, Hugo came ashore and moved to the Algarve. He managed to adopt an army of dogs, cats and horses which kept him fit and he also decided to rekindle his passion in bikes and took up quad bike racing with great gusto. In time he took part in more professional quad bike racing and was crowned National Vice Champion Class Promotion in 2010 and National Champion Class Promotion in 2011. To this day he is still partaking in many races.
